I made french toast this morning (actually it was already noon) for breakfast. I looked out the window and it wasn't as sunny as I wanted it to be but at least it's not raining. It hasn't been raining for some time and I'm grateful. But it made me think of yesterday's sunset. I went out about 5.15pm to the bus stop and you know what? I smiled, almost in a cynical way. Considering people were looking weirdly at me in the bus. It's funny. You smile thinking its supposed to be a good thing but people around you perceive it as if you're a weirdo because apparently there is the unwritten rule of being grumpy in the bus? Anyway, as I was just looking at the sunset in the background, all I could think about was colours: how it blended in from orange to pink-ish to blue. My point for today's post was that the sun was still out there past 5pm. And THAT, made all the difference.
The view from the dining hall up on ReZ
The view above the the walkway from Rotunda to Convocation Mall. You can't see any building in Vancouver City because it was covered by that fog. Pretty, once the sun sets but I didn't have the patience to wait or the blubber to keep warm and wait.
The view from the bus stop (As you can see, it's pretty shaky, my hands were cold)

The BIG 2-0

It's so uplifting to know I'm not the only one thinking about this. For some reason, everytime I talk to someone born in the year 1989, I tend to bring this subject up.
"Like duuuudddeeeee, were friggin' 20 this year man!"
I mean, it won't be another 11 months before I specifically turn 20 but what about those who are turning 20 soon or have already turned 20 since this past 17 days in the year 2009. Like whOOly fuck, right? You can't blame all our shits on being the experimental teens we actually are. There's always a kid in us somewhere within us but the reality bites us hard in the ass and numerically shoves us into that subgroup of twenties.
It's funny in the past how you want to grow up so fast but when you finally reach this phase, you wish you were right back at being the kid that plays all day without a worry in the world. Well, you all probably know by now that I hate the fact that we have to grow up some day but honestly, who wants to? It's a bleak future to care about. It's a screwed up world that we live in. And yet, were still here. Going through it everyday as if it was a beautiful day to wake up to with the sun so bright and friendly little birds chirping so melodically that when you open the windows, they come flocking to you.

GUESS WHAT??...
This only happens in Disney cartoons and movies. What reality depicts is a foggy-how-the-hell-do-you-expect-me-to-travel-day with shitloads of classes and tutorials to deal with. A life lived through while staring at a screen we all cannot live without and of course, the occasional beers here and there. What an exciting future, no?
I'm a pessimist. Sue me. Like I give a shit.

The Women
I watched this movie last night. Mostly, because Meg Ryan was in it. I thought it was such a good movie. Not ONE man in it. SERIOUSLY. And such a good movie on top of it. The women. The gossip. The betrayal. (And the forgiveness) The humour. Women... What will you do with them? What will you do without them?Watch it.
News?
Hello.
I have not had internet connection hooked up over at the new house. Forgive me if I have not been on my msn updating you people on what is going on. Pictures of the new place should be up soon, but I am so so lazy to unpack. I hate packing and unpacking. It's so time-consuming. Well, anyway, I have a pretty nice room. It's nice to know youre coming back to a nice peach-smelling room (yes, I light a peach-scented candle in the room) and a warm bed =)

Updates:
- My room has glass blocks at the side of the room. That sucks because sunlight actually gets in which ultimately means I CAN"T sleep in.
- Attached bathroom that other people also use is not such a good thing when you want to sleep in.
- I donated blood yesterday. I was careful this time to eat something just before arriving and having juice wile waiting. I wanted to use my left arm this time and it went smoothly. I think the nurse was more experienced since I have really small veins.
- I have to come to school to check my mails. Sad, no?
- I paid for school fees today that came up to $3065.54. (The things I could do with that amount of money...)
- Volunteer-in-training at VanAqua is F-U-N! The things that you can learn there is endless.
- I always seem to be behind in my reading... Hmm....
I will without a doubt update soon..
Toodles.

Snowed In
First day of school. First day it snowed in. Hmm...
Can I get used to skipping school due to snow?
Maybe. If it's on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
(Days that start at 8.30a.m.)
You might be wondering why everything is left sided today?
New year, new styles right?
I doubt I'll be writing everything on the left this whole year but we'll see
Toodles.
(I wonder if it will get snowed in tomorrow?.. Hmm..
Two days in a row won't be that bad eh?)
