French toast

I made french toast this morning (actually it was already noon) for breakfast. I looked out the window and it wasn't as sunny as I wanted it to be but at least it's not raining. It hasn't been raining for some time and I'm grateful. But it made me think of yesterday's sunset. I went out about 5.15pm to the bus stop and you know what? I smiled, almost in a cynical way. Considering people were looking weirdly at me in the bus. It's funny. You smile thinking its supposed to be a good thing but people around you perceive it as if you're a weirdo because apparently there is the unwritten rule of being grumpy in the bus? Anyway, as I was just looking at the sunset in the background, all I could think about was colours: how it blended in from orange to pink-ish to blue. My point for today's post was that the sun was still out there past 5pm. And THAT, made all the difference. The view from the dining hall up on ReZThe view above the the walkway from Rotunda to Convocation Mall. You can't see any building in Vancouver City because it was covered by that fog. Pretty, once the sun sets but I didn't have the patience to wait or the blubber to keep warm and wait. The view from the bus stop (As you can see, it's pretty shaky, my hands were cold)
