Forgive my laziness, but I have been busy getting as many stamps as I could before the 31st of May. As a volunteer for the Vancouver Aquarium, I got this Tourism Passport Challenge booklet that allows me free admission for TWO to all the famous tourism spots in Vancouver. Of course, I used up my weekends to do all the visiting. I like visiting the hotels. Everyone knows what youre after when they see you with the booklet (because they do have it - ALL staff and volunteers in the tourism business have it). Everyone is all smiles. Well, let's start off the tour, shall we?

First stop:
ALL aboard the Constitution! I was surprised to meet my friend, Bowie when I went to get tickets. I didn't know she worked there. The Constitution takes us on a ride around the Burrard Inlet. It's a pretty cool ride. Slow. But cool.

There are many of these planes docked around. I want to learn to pilot a plane. Where are my pilot friends? You guys are teaching me how to drive one when I get back! Ooh, anyone interested in skydiving? ;)

There were a couple of seals too. They stink, but how can you resist them? They are so cute!

There was a cruise ship that just docked for the day while I was on the Constitution. If you look in the background for that tower looking building towards the left of the picture, that was my next stop. The Harbour Centre which is also the place where SFU's downtown campus is at. And speaking of my university, guess what I could see with my little beady eyes from the towers...

Not that great a picture, but my camera can't zoom in THAT far... Humour me. See the middle mountain? That's where my university is at. Cool eh?

Remember my biking trip? That's Stanley Park right there... with Vancouver Aquarium along the way and a couple of beaches too...

The same cruise ship that docked for the day. Just another view of it... Those white tents you see is Canada Place where the Imax Theathre is at. I got a discount to watch a show there too! So, of course I headed there the next week with a friend to watch Under the Sea in 3D. Cool stuff...

I hopped on the Trolley. They are so noisy...It wheezes all the way as if it's going to die but it was good fun waving at people. HAhaha..
I wave at everyone... Just for the fun of being a "tourist-for-the-day"
I think that concluded one day. Yesterday, I went to a couple other places too... One including a giant golf ball...

Welcome to the Telus World of Science. It is uber fun. At least I do. I become a kid all over again there. I still am mostly. But at least there, I can show it and not be embarrassed =p Come and meet me new friend... He's huge...

I can't remember his name though... He did have a name... Heubert or Wilbur or something like that... I imagine an intellectual having a name like that you know. The type that's short and pudgy-looking and thick glasses... I'm stereotyping... Not that all Heuberts and Wilburs are like that =)

I believe there are supposed to be our ancestors those few millenias ago...

This time, I hopped on the BigBus. Can't really wave from here. I was too tall
(for once).

Got a shot of Granville Island while on the bus. Didn't go there this time since I've been there last year. Time is stamps!

Stopped by the Vancouver Art Gallery and I saw a street performer. He was juggling knives while walking across the torch of fire. Random...

Another random finding of mine. While walking down Gastown... there's an alley called, and yes you've guessed it, Blood Alley. Quite a few murders happened here. Apparently ghosts haunt this street. Hehe. Actually, no. It's called blood alley because it used to be a butcher's street where blood use to stain the bricks of the alley.

I think this was in the Vancouver Police Museum. Police used to ride this?? Well, sign me up!
So, I take a step back from the modern-day life and
go-green over at VanDusen's Botanical Garden...

Ever seen apple trees grown this way?

These, I can't remember what they are called...

This is the flower of the garlic I think...

It's got "Bell" in this one's name...

This is Monkey-something....
I'm so bad with names aren't I?
Can you spot Malaysia? or Australia? You'd have to be really blur to not spot the Land down under...

Tulips are so friendly-looking aren't they?

And they come in all kinds of colours too...

And then I wondered into China... At least, a replica of it in the Chinese Gardens of Chinatown.. Lots of stories but I'm getting lazy to write and youre already getting lazy to read.
I got 26 stamps!Woot woot!
Toodles...
