I've got soul...

I listen to The Killers (while waiting for the bus) and it has this almost-calming effect. I have been having typical student days I guess. Always rushed. Always eating on the go. Always WAITING for the DAMN bus. or train. But at least the train travels faster and comes pretty frequently. If you miss a bus, you just have to wait for half an hour sometimes. It's so not something you want to do especially in the cold. At least it's not snowing.

You know. It's been like almost 6 months since I've been behind the wheel. IMAGINE THAT! I can't believe I've been surviving that long either. I used to drive everywhere. and I mean EVERYWHERE because how else can you get around Malaysia? Of course there is the occasional LRT trips to downtown KL when I want to take random pictures of the random things in town (and there are a lot) but still, the only way you can get around is by driving. All Malaysians will tell you that. When I go back, I can't wait to get behind the wheel and just DRIVE... I miss the highway I take all the time to get home. The KESAS highway... I can just imagine myself right now pushing 140-160 (depending on my mood and the speed traps) as I cruise along the highway. My random outings. Usually at night. Or early mornings to Asia Cafe for a few games of pool. A few drinks maybe...

Then of course, my thoughts of cruising along the KESAS highway is drowned out by the sound of the approaching train. And I rush in the same time as everyone else to get a small spot so we won't have to be the ones that get left behind.

but I'm not a soldier...
