Simon Fraser University, Burnaby Mountain

I just love the colours of the sky here. It's always beautiful no matter what. Winter hasn't happened so I wouldnt know how it's going to be but I'll soon find out. Brrrr.... This pic below was taken just outside my dad's balcony. Isn't it pretty?
When it's actually sunny though, this is what the view from his place looks like....

Which is not bad at all... You get to see the sea and the mountains. And occasionally, you get to see planes flying in to land on the water... Those water planes yea, not the ones you get at the airport...

On a "cooler" note, I went out today because it was sunny and a sunny day like today is not to be missed. Seriouslllyyyyy.... I took pictures of the campus. I've been here almost 2 weeks now, I kinda needed to know where all the roads go to. I still get a lil lost especially in the buildings. I'm headed for north but end up at south or head for east and end at west. That kinda thing... I'm getting used to it... So, let's check out the pics, shall we?
Some more mountains to look at. Considering that I'm actually on one.
The library is the building on the right. Pretty big. I haven't had a proper look at it yet. There's lots of stairs around here. Trust me you can't see it there's hell lot of it...
This walk way if you look at it properly is like a zig zag which passes a man-made lake. No fish. Too cold for them... Hahahaha...Lots of people sit around here (including me) just to read or lay down to soak up the sun. I did that just after taking all these pictures...
Another view of the library over on the far right and the Maggie Benston's Student Services Office on the left. Can't really see it, because of how everything kind of blends in.
The buses and cars come up the mountain through this road. You can see a partial of the Terry Fox Field on the right. I hope you guys know who he is. He's the guy that ran halfway across Canada even though he had only one good leg to raise funds for cancer research. He didn't get to complete the race but he's legacy lives on. Hehe. I sound so corny saying that.

So on to more important places, like my room =) This is not messy. This is considered neat for my standards. So don't be too quick to judge. I find my stuff in my mess. I don't understand why people don't understand people like Sara and me who actually find our stuff within our mess. We actually remember where we put em'. Once they get put back somewhere, it's like a whole other chore to look for them AGAIN. Anyway, there's the fridge and mirror and unoccupied bookshelves. I miss my books. I don't think bookshelves should be empty. Never should it be looking like that. I have some pictures of me and my friends up there. Thanks to the Besties* for making an album so I can put them up. I just need to look at it from my table and think back of all those happy moments back home =)

We went blueberry picking yesterday. Blueberries look like that and they're unique. All of them have a different taste. Not many big ones because it's almost end of the season. It's still an experience though...
After that we went for Hong Kong Chinese food. It's the closest I get to anything other than hamburgers, hot dogs, pizzas and pasta. Imagine having to choose from that everyday for dinner. Sheeesh...
Some beef hor fun which was just okay okay for me. I need my chilli padi to spice things up. They DON'T serve cut chilli here. What the hell???
Some beef sang mien.. which was my favourite dish that day..
And lastly, we had chicken baked rice something.. Haha, That was pretty good too =)
Don't they look yummy? Hehehehe..
Hmm... I like laying on the grass and reading here so much so I took a picture... of my small feet..
I guess that's about it for tonight.
Good night Canada and Good Morning Malaysia!
