Bridging the gaps

Sarat and I went to watch Get Smart yesterday. Very funny movie. It was good catching up with her. Our outings are really about the same. We meet up at the usual corner at MPH in between the sci-fi section and the literary fiction section. We just love to go there but everytime we do, we sorta have this adrenaline rush to buy so many books we think will be good to read. Problem is, we don't have all that much to spend on books especially when each book costs at least RM 35. How the hell is the government going to encourage more people to read when one book costs a whole week's worth of lunch? (That is if we spend only rm 5 on lunch!) Pfft....

Running around with a watermelon (Sarat's mom made her buy it) and a hair-dye kit (My grandmother made me buy it), we decided to sit some where instead while waiting for Sarat's mom to call. With Sarat being all cautious about the watermelon, we headed over to the Garden's where they had big comfy chairs in the middle of just about anywhere so the watermelon could have a nice sit without being damaged. Looking up, we saw bridges on all levels connecting the left and right side of the floor. It takes I guess half a minute tops to go across if there weren't any bridges but hey, it's all about the "creative-ness" isn't it? (Talk about being lazy...) Anyway, it looked cool looking up. As you can see the picture above. The bridges are a lil transparent so we could see people walking across it. Just a lil more transparent and let me tell you girls that it ain't such a good idea wearing skirts and walking across those bridges to take that half a minute short cut. If you know what I mean...

Back at Sarat's place, we were youtubing some cool dances. I love Youtube. I don't know what I'd do without it especially at work. Well, technically, I am supposed to be "working" but I need to stay the hell awake. And I do work !.. Youtube really does "bridge" all our worlds together. Just take a video of something whacky, stupid, funny and hopefully worth wasting my time to, from any part of the world - with internet connection of course - load it up and hey! I can watch it without moving my ass from this computer screen.

Talk about bridging the gaps...
