Woot! I watched Iron Man twice. The twice part mainly because The Chronicles of Narnia 2: Prince Caspian was sold out. Pfff.... But this time, I stayed to watch the after credits. Thanks to a certain someone for pointing it out - and also for saying "you suck!!!! How can you not watch it???*
It was a hell of a long wait. It was sort of worth it, because we were like the only ones left in the cinema. Haha. So, we can brag about being the very few devoted MARVEL fans seeing it! Hehe.. Iron Man has got to be the best comic adaption I have seen so far. Awesome-ness... I doubted Robert Downey Jr.'s acting skills. I didn't think he would suit Tony Stark's character but heck, he put me to shame and everybody else who doubted him. He's effing buff as well. Tony Stark's remarks and musings in the movie make you laugh because he's so random, amusing, and right all at the same time. Gwyneth Paltrow suited her character, Pepper Potts.. Such a cute name, isnt it? She's so sweet. She has honest feelings for her boss which is so much sweeter...
Tony Stark is the son of Howard Stark - I think that's his name. Both geniuses in the engineering world. Stark Industries cater to the All-American weaponry sensation. There's some under-table business going on that triggers Tony to do something "good" for once. He sees with his own eyes that the weapons he created to protect his fellow Americans are ironically used to kill them. As life is famously noted for, SHIT HAPPENS... He realizes certain things and tries to turn over a new leaf. Hence, the making of IRON MAN
Overall, I thought it was a good movie. Good humour. Pretty good story line. And good music too!! It starts with AC/DC's Back in Black and ends with Black Sabbath's Ironman. All the way rock! It suited the movie. =) I can't wait for the sequel....
Moral of the story:
Watch the after credits
And no, I won't spoil your fun. Go watch it!
